Vision
A historic industrial district is growing into Tallinn’s mecca of creativity and innovation, where contemporary work culture, creativity and breadth of vision meet. In creating the M-hoone office packages, inspiration has been drawn from the history of the Telliskivi quarter and its characteristic features and materials, as well as from its vision and mission for the future.
The PAEKIVI (limestone) package is in Scandinavian-style light and soft tones, drawing inspiration from the massive limestone walls that are one of the characteristic features of the whole quarter.
The layering typical of limestone is also reflected in the pairing of different materials and harmonising tones, creating a cosy and calm atmosphere in the office without generating excess noise or overstimulation.
Wood adds warmth to the overall light Scandinavian backdrop, used on doors, window frames and furniture alike. In addition, natural light and green indoor plants add colour on one hand and cosiness and naturalness on the other.
Although the core look and feel of the package is bright and minimalist, a little colour can also be brought in with individual elements if desired, enlivening the space and the mood.
The entire common area and the meeting rooms/offices of the package have unfinished open ceilings. The concrete ceiling gives the space a rustic, industrial feel.
The main wall tone is a warm off-white, accented with lighter greyish-beige tones. These colours bring out both the tonalities of limestone and Scandinavian softness and warmth.
The floors are covered with carpet tiles in different tones – a slightly darker undertone in the common area and a lighter tonality in the meeting rooms and offices. In the dining area the floor is wood-imitation LVT, which adds cosiness while being durable and easy to clean.
The doors and glass-wall frames are oak-veneered, adding cosiness to the otherwise light and greyish-beige tones.
The TELLISKIVI package is colourful and features bold finishing solutions that inspire thinking outside the box. This contemporary, mid-century-inspired design solution bursts with energy and perfectly expresses the quarter’s characteristic features – red brick, youthfulness, energy and creative development.
As is typical of the era, the finishing materials use bold colours, materials and wood mixed with industrial rusticity.
The overall backdrop is warm and bold. Warmth is further added by wood, used on both doors and glass partition frames.
The contemporary mid-century design provides the ideal playground for creative thinking and action.

The METALL (metal) package has a strong industrial and rustic undertone, inspired by the history and architecture of the quarter.
As is typical of metal, cooler tones and materials dominate the package. A characteristic feature is the use of black colour and metal material on furniture as well as on interior doors and glass partitions.
This package can be paired with monochrome furniture, or, for contrast to the cool tones, wooden furniture and cognac shades can be added to bring luxury, timelessness and warmth to the space.
Despite the industrial style, the overall look of the package is classically stylish and dignified, offering a calm atmosphere.
