We are happy to share some big, long-awaited news with you – the M building construction contract has been signed, agreements with financiers have been finalized, and construction will begin in the coming days. Our construction partners are Rand & Tuulberg together with Ehitustrust, and the project is being financed by Swedbank and OP Corporate Bank. The new complex will be completed in 2028.
The M-building is Telliskivi’s next big step. This roughly 20,000 m² multifunctional complex will bring new Class A offices, Inbank’s headquarters, an urban spa, international exhibition spaces, and even more culture, sports, and service opportunities to the complex.
Most important, however, is what Telliskivi as a whole will become. With the M-building, even more active urban space will be added, one that lives from morning to evening and gives people a reason to come here to work, meet, enjoy culture, exercise, or simply spend a pleasant time.
What’s changing in the near future?
In the coming days, we’ll begin installing construction fences around the M-building, followed by demolition works.
Due to construction, we’ll be closing the M-building tunnel, but pedestrians will still be able to pass both in front of and behind the building. For those traveling by car, nothing will change in the near term — entrances will remain open and parking spaces will be preserved during construction. That said, some temporary movement restrictions and closures should be expected during the construction period. We’ll notify you of these as early as possible in cooperation with the contractor, and we’ll do everything we can to make this inevitably somewhat inconvenient construction period go as smoothly as possible for all of us.
In the future, however, a large share of the complex’s car traffic will move away from street level, and parking will be available in the new parking house. This will allow us to give more and more street space back to people and add new green and recreational areas to Telliskivi.
I’m well aware that a development of this scale inevitably brings temporary inconveniences along with it. Together with the contractors, we’ll do our best to make the construction period go as smoothly as possible for the people working here, our neighbors, and visitors to the complex alike.
We’ll keep you regularly updated on all major construction-related changes by email and, when needed, in our Facebook community group.
And a call to action for our own community as well.
Telliskivi is great above all thanks to the people and companies already active here. With the M-building, we have an opportunity to grow this community even further.
So if among your friends, partners, or professional network there’s a company that might also be a good fit for Telliskivi, tell them about us and share my contact. A great future neighbor might be just one introduction away!
Feel free to reach out to me directly about the new office spaces and other opportunities in the M building — I’d be happy to tell you more!
Thank you for being part of Telliskivi. The next couple of years will bring a lot of change, but even more that’s new and exciting, which we look forward to together.
Best wishes,
Katrina
